Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor undertaking complex new build projects across Europe and the Middle East. Projects include Commercial, Industrial, Data Centres, and Logistics. This organisation delivers full turnkey solutions — constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, civils, structures/superstructure, M&E installation, fit-out, and handover. Company turnover currently exceeds €1bn, and the business continues to grow steadily year-on-year.

As they expand their footprint in Northern Europe, they are now seeking an experienced M&E QA/QC Manager to support the delivery of a hyper-scale data centre new build in Northern Denmark. This is a technically complex, fast-track Tier IV project — a key component of Europe’s growing digital infrastructure network.

As M&E QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and managing all mechanical and electrical quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the M&E Project Manager, Construction Manager, client, and commissioning teams, you will ensure that all systems meet stringent design, performance, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the M&E quality management plan for the project
• Oversee inspection, testing, and documentation processes for mechanical and electrical systems
• Ensure full compliance with design specifications, client standards, and Tier III/IV data centre requirements
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and QA/QC reviews throughout installation and commissioning phases
• Manage non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to verify material and equipment compliance
• Support the commissioning and validation teams to ensure systems meet operational performance standards
• Maintain accurate quality records and prepare handover documentation for client acceptance
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the project team

Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in M&E construction quality management, ideally on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HV/LV power, UPS, generators, cooling, and BMS
• Proven experience implementing QA/QC processes on complex, fast-track projects (€100M+)
• Knowledge of EU construction standards, commissioning protocols, and ISO quality systems
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills
• Fluent in English; Danish or another Nordic language is advantageous
• Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• Eligible to work in Denmark
